Abstract

In these days, shortage of labor is one of the big issues in the building construction site. The robot technology will be one of the key technologies for solving this problem. The Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), which is used to move the products or materials in the factories, is one of the solutions for moving the heavy construction materials in construction sites. Usually, AGV uses the GPS, magnetic tag and SLAM technology for the navigation system in the factories. In the building construction site, AGV cannot uses the GPS, because of the indoor. The SLAM is difficult to use as navigation, because of under construction. This paper proposes the navigation system for AGV in the building construction sites. Proposed navigation system uses as the square marker and AR marker.
