Cross-ratio method is one of the gaze estimations on a screen, and the method uses some near-infrared light sources for detecting screen corners and calculates a point-of-gaze using homography matrix from the image plane to screen plane. However, long-time emission of the near-infrared light makes a user fatigued. In related research, cross-ratio method without nearinfrared LEDs has been proposed, but the accuracy of the estimated point-of-gaze is worse than cross-ratio method with the near-infrared LEDs. Therefore, we propose a cross-ratio based gaze estimation using the reflected screen area on a cornea in this paper, and our proposed method uses a tangent plane on the cornea for estimating point-of-gaze with high accuracy. We conducted some evaluation experiments and describe the consideration of the problems in the visible cross-ratio method.
