Expectation for robots for nursing and lifestyle support is increasing as we are facing the aged society. We focused on the tasks of moving and grasping which are common in many nursing care operation. This paper describes the development of a robot which can fetch a requested object. We build a new robot with an arm and autonomous movement and grasping object capability. All software modules are implemented on the ROS environment.
