Abstract

This paper introduces a running support system based on eye tracking and sound notification. Our previous study showed a relationship between eye positions and neck movements through analysis of gaze point data in running. Then, this support system would be effective for keeping appropriate postures in running. Sound notification is also one of the important factors in the proposed system. This paper describes analysis of sound notification decision condition and psychological evaluation method on sound notification in the running support system. Actually, gaze data for sound notification evaluation is acquired using the developed running support system. Especially, this paper evaluates matching between good gaze data and sound notification. In addition, several psychological evaluation methods of sound notification are discussed for improvement of the system.
