Abstract

Swarm robotics has potential as future technology. It will achieve superior functions using a lot of robots which have simple function with lower cost. In previous studies, authors have developed a simple rule by try and error. The rule is implemented in robots in simulation, and it realizes swarming and following behaviors using only three PSD sensors. In this paper, automatically design method of the rule using genetic algorithm are proposed.
