Projection mappings have gathered people's attention in these days. Since most conventional projection mapping techniques assume that the objects to be projected are static and don't move, many studies intending to achieve dynamic projection mapping have been reported recently. In this presentation, a dynamic projection mapping technique applied to sports scene is proposed. A prototype system was developed using two Saccade Mirrors and a specially developed laser projector. Dynamic projection mapping on a table tennis ball in a rally was demonstrated.
