Abstract

A production of high quality nanoparticles has been an important role in the field such as medicine, food and electronic materials. In addition, a production system for generating uniform nanoparticles with a simple process has been required. By re-crystallization process, a size of generated particle decreases when a cooling speed of solution increases. The quenching of solution as micro droplets is effective for nanoparticles generation. In this study, nanoparticles have been generated and evaluated by quenching of micro droplets generated using a microchannel device. When the flow ratio changes, the diameter of generated droplet changes in the microchannel. Therefore, we have realized the generation of fine nanoparticles when the diameter of quenched droplets decreased.
