Abstract

In Japan it enforced Basic Act for National Resilience Contributing from Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) based on the lessons learned from The Great East Japan Earthquake. Proximity viewing used in inspection of bridges is an inspection with a distance between the examiner's eyes and the inspection surface within 150 mm. Recently, the inspection of bridge by robot have been increasing, but there are not many places where they can be introduced. Therefore, inspections by workers will increase. In this paper, we have developed the robot unit for workload reduction in suspended scaffold. In addition, we have quantitative analysis of social implementation such an approach. We built an index for quantifying the value of social implementation experiments. Furthermore, it was applied to various projects and its usefulness considered.
