Abstract

It is expected to introduce various comfortable features to a vehicle which will become living room with progress of automatic driving technology. Meanwhile, there is a lot of space in where comfort is pursued as well as in vehicles, for example, homes, public facilities and public transportation. Various information is necessary to provide comfortable space and a lot of sensors are used to acquire it. Further, it is desirable that configurations of sensors and equipment can be changed easily to apply them in the various locations and situations. For this purpose, we have proposed framework of plug and play connection by which sensor nodes are automatically connected to automotive network. In this paper, effectiveness of the framework is verified through multi-functionalizing seat in vehicle.
