Abstract

Traditionally description of the Related Art Conventionally, in rehabilitation support for elderly people and patients, music therapy that performs a program utilizing characteristics of sound, such as singing and doing gymnastics and playing a musical instrument, has been known. In music therapy using Japanese drums, it has been confirmed that activation of the body function and the brain activates smiles and lively movements. However, the assessment of functional recovery is determined by the subjective views of physiotherapists and occupational therapists, and there is a lack of systems that allow objective visualization. In this report, we aim to build a system that can evaluate the effects of music therapy using an engineering method.
