Changes in Thermal-Grill illusion occurrence time due to spatial division presentation of thermal stimulus due to difference in initial temperature

Abstract

Spatially non-uniform heat distribution induces rapid temperature change presentation. By employing the pehenomenon, We have proposed a method to reduce the time required to induce the thermal-grill illusion. In the present study, we will investigate whether the time until the thermal-grill illusion is triggered changes when the temperature of the preheating/precooling is changed.
