Abstract

Ultrasonic motors are not affected by magnetic fields. If this motor can be used as an actuator for a surgical support robot, it will be possible to provide surgical support to complex tissues. To perform precise positioning control of a small ultrasonic motor, the ultrasonic motor could be controlled within an error of 0.0044°by PID control .
