Abstract

Thus far, most mowing work was performed manually. However, manual mowing is quite laborious. Therefore, we designed a system that can reduce the amount of labor involved in mowing. In this study, we researched and developed a flail (hammer knife) type mowing system that can mow a dense grasses area. We propose a method for reducing battery consumption in the mowing system. We also confirm the effect of reducing battery consumption in areas with little grass.
