Analysis of cell-cell communication is attracting large attention in the field of cell biology or immunology. However, the conventional methods of analyzing cell-cell interaction are not suitable for cell-cell interaction in group cell. In this study, we propose a flow control and manipulation method for cell transport and trap toward analyzing cell-cell interaction by using integrated light-driven gel actuators. We construct an electronic-hydraulic analogy for switching streamline by using integrated light-driven gel actuators. We confirmed the switching of the streamline based on the constructed model. Furthermore, we succeeded in manipulation of multiple cells, transport and trap. From these results, we show potential of the proposed method for analyzing cell-cell interaction in a microfluidic device.
