Abstract

A wearable lumbar load measuring device is used to measure the lumbar load due to changes in posture, and quantify the strain on the waist. In addition, we will evaluate the physical ability, analyze the correlation of low back pain from the questionnaire results, etc. The analysis of lumbar load by postural change resulted in a lumbar load of 8677.6 N for workers with low back pain and 8729.4 N for workers without low back pain. In addition, the relationship between work burden and physical performance evaluation indices showed a low correlation regardless of the presence or absence of a history of LBP. When correlated, data unrelated to back pain, such as the relationship between various grip strengths and the maximum weight of materials handled, also showed high correlations.
