We fabricated three-dimensional (3D) dielectric elastomer actuator (DEA) made of an organogel by dip-mold. Most DEAs have two-dimensional shape and there are a few 3D shaped DEAs. By fabricating 3D DEA, we can apply them to organ models or tactile presentation devices. However, considering these applications, we need to generate larger displacement. In this paper, we fabricated 3D DEA made of an organogel with excellent material properties that can generate large displacements. We evaluated a relative permittivity and Young’s modulus of an organogel comparing it to PDMS. Also, we use an experimental system that can apply pre-stretch in out-of-plane direction by water pressure. And we evaluated displacements of 3D DEA when we applied AC voltage.
