In recent years, cell aggregates, including spheroids have been important in tissue engineering. Cell spheroids are popular models for drug screening and regenerative medicine. Previously, we demonstrated generating cell aggregates using vibration-induced flow. However, cell aggregates using the method have not been cultured yet while culture of cell aggregates is the essential process forming cell spheroid. In this paper, we performed time-lapse observation cell aggregates cultured for 24 hours and showed that cells of cell spheroids adhered to each other. In addition, we observed three-dimensional shape of the cell spheroids and measured the circularity. The circularities of spheroids formed by using the proposed method was comparable with conventional methods.
