Development of non-wearing type assist suit for dairy farmers to reduce the physical burden.

Abstract

One of the serious problems that Japan has been facing is its growing aging society, which causes a shortage of workers in the dairy industry field. In this study, we focused on cow midwifery in dairy farming and developed the non-wearing type assist suit with midwifery equipment. In addition, we developed two types of assist suits and quantitatively evaluated their effectiveness. As a result of the verification experiment, it was confirmed that the muscle burden of the subjects were reduced.
