Abstract

The proposed stabilizer for Off-pump CABG has rubber valves that open with small contact pressure. The previous valves required assembly with some rubber parts. This assembly process caused valve leakage. Therefore, we proposed a structure that includes a valve seat made of SUS tube and the rubber valve bodies. The displacements of the valve body when a contact force is applied were calculated using non-linear FEM simulation to determine the dimensions of the valve body. When the fabricated valves were closed, the pressure decrease due to leakage was less than 0.1 kPa, which is the display resolution of the pressure sensor.
