Abstract

Japan has become a hyper-aged society, and the number of elderly people with reduced walking ability is expected to increase. The decline in walking ability leads to a significant decrease in the quality of life. Therefore, it is necessary to realize quantitative gait evaluation and to propose and evaluate efficient and effective gait training methods. Recently, Digital Twin technology (DT) has attracted much attention for its ability to make accurate judgments and actions in real space by simulating in virtual space. For rehabilitation DX, we are developing the IoRT walker. We have considered a gait training system that implements digital twin technology in this system. In this paper, we review and report the issues involved.
