Abstract
JAXA has begun studying feasibility of space solar power system (SSPS). The robotics technology will play important role for constructing and maintaining large space structures such as SSPS. In this paper we focus on ground-base experiments for robotics assembly of SSPS including the flexible structure assembly by multiple robots, the vibration suppression of the flexible arm, and the walking robot on the light-weight structure.
