The trial which foreknows wear of a tool from change of the electric power of a motor was carried out from before.. However, the actually exact forecast was impossible and has detected only a big electric power change (breaking or big deficit). Then, the electric power waveforms under through cutting were collected for one year, and data analysis was performed. Consequently, it discovered "In the equipment for processing, since oil is used, there is an electric power difference according to a temperature difference also by the tool of the same wear state. However, it is the same if the electric power at the time of non-processed is removed. This discovery was enabled to carry out [detection of the life of a tool, and detection of a deficit] from change of electric power.
