Recently, a lot of researchers in the sports and exercises fields are focusing on measuring and analyzing human’s motion. However, it is still hard to teach people ideal movement using these kinds of data, and the skill acquirement degree depends on the abilities of each players. There are few engineering support methods which facilitating to acquire skills. In athletics field, especially for sprinters, running skill which maximizing the horizontal ground reaction force are considered as a difficult and important skill. In this research, the authors worked on developing methods that give clues to acquire that skill targeting on players for those who have the athletic experiences during their junior high school and high school terms. To facilitate the degree of players’ skill acquirement, an experimental training machine was developed which is intended to be able to organize their sprint motion ideally through practice. The machine controlled the user’s running posture pulling him/her upward. Authors investigated the connections between running speeds and hip joint angles. The results indicate that the operation of running posture affects the stability of running pelvis.
