Abstract
Stirling cycle is one of the machines which can convert power and thermal energy each other. Cogeneration system is a typical example of Stirling cycle as a bilateral application. Stirling system is used as a secondary machine. The system is driven as an engine with an exhaust gas of a primary engine. The same system is also driven as a heat pump. In this study, a bilateral Stirling system is examined both experimentally and analytically. The system performance is then presented. Finally, the expected performance is suggested.
