In order to demonstrate the effectiveness of Stirling engine with heat exchangers consisting of the pin-fin arrays, small atmospheric β and γ-type pin-fin Stirling engine have been manufactured and simple experiments were carried out as the graduation research work. In the present paper, the structure of pin fin heater, pin fin cooler, regenerator, crank mechanism, motion of the power piston and displacer piston of engines are reported. Both engines' bore diameter and strokes are same 70 mm and 30mm, respectively. In the concluding remark, effectiveness of pin fin Stirling engine is confirmed because its structure is simple and number of engine part are smaller than the conventional Stirling engine.
