2P07 Electric Equipment for 1000 series LRV Hiroshima Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Shotgun Session)

Abstract

Kinkisharyo, Mitsubishi Heavy Industry and Toyo Denki Seizo developed a 18.6m class, low-floor tram, the 1000 series. Toyo Denki Seizo developed and supplied the essential electrical equipment. The propulsion system is an axial wheel system. APS system is a high frequency type link. Total Train Control System conforms to IEC 61375 part 3-4. The 1000 series started initial operation in 2013. Now, Hiroshima Electric railway has a plan to increase capacity with additional vehicles.
