Abstract
This paper describes the effect of micro-jet injection on non-premixed lifting methane flame. The micro jet injection method is used to expand the flammable limit and to control lifting flame height. Two kinds of injection method are carried out; inner injection, and outer one. Air, N_2 and H_2 are used for the working fluid as the secondary jet. As the results, it is found that the micro jet injection method is effective to expand the flammable limit and to control lifting height. And furthermore, with a steady H_2 jet as the secondary injection, lifting flame height becomes lower due to the effect of selective diffusion.
