Abstract
CGO and ScSZ electrolyte materials were prepared by citrate Sol-Gel method and co-precipitation method, respectively. XRD, SEM and TEM analysis were made to check the phase composition and particle size of the sample. Cells with different electrolyte were prepared by co-pressing method. Single cell was tested with hydrogen as fuel. The OCV of the cell with ScSZ/CGO bilayer electrolyte were 1.02-1.05V, and the peak power densities were 197.3 and 108.8mW/cm^2 at 800 and 650℃, respectively, which were higher than that of the cell with single-layered CGO electrolyte. The performance of cell was raised effectively by ScSZ/CGO bilayer electrolyte.
