2209 Construction of Traffic Simulator Considered Dynamic Characteristics of Vehicles

Abstract

This research described construction of a traffic simulator as the evaluation tool that contained each vehicle characteristic, driver characteristic, environment information and so on. In this study, a basic design for the traffic simulator is shown as the 1st step of the research. A risk model is used as driver model. The validity of risk model is verified by experiment of 45-degree turn. Finally, the interaction among vehicles is examined by braking simulation.
