Abstract
In this research, the examinations aiming to design a barrier freed and universal designed taxi vehicle were held. To start the discussion, the problems of the present taxi vehicles were reconfirmed. On the other hand, the process that is necessary for designing the vehicles was acquired from PPP, a guideline for designing UD products. This new guideline for designing UD vehicles was named VPP. Based on these elements, the designing plan for UD taxi was proposed. Additionally, in order to decide on the products' specific shapes and other specifications, utilization of the human motion analysis method was proposed, and according this method, the vehicles' frameworks and specific measurements were actually decided. Through the examination using a Mock-Up, it was confirmed that desirable vehicle design was obtained.
