Abstract
It is necessary to examine the appropriate tie down system to wheelchair user for safety when the wheelchair users ride on the bus. We developed the three point tie down system for the wheelchair in consideration of the practical use of the bus. Then, we executed the traveling test for the performance confirmation of the three point tie down system. In addition, we executed the sled test which assumed the current regulations and the traffic accidents. As a result, it has been understood that the three point tie down system for wheelchair has a superb performance.
