Abstract
To evaluate the riding comfortability of crawler-type construction machines with bogie mechanism, a simulation analysis method when the machine travels on continuous uneven firm grounds is established and some simulation results are analyzed. On this kind of grounds. loads acting via running equipment from ground are not so large but fluctuate steadily. The bouncing behavior at the driver seat position is investigated. Then the effects of the type of bogie mechanism called K type and X type on the behavior are clarified and discussed quantitatively. The change of the bogie mechanism effectiveness by the bump height and pitch of uneven grounds is also studied.
