In this paper, the method of detecting vehicles located around host vehicle is presented. With cameras having different fields of view, a surrounding map that represents the positions of vehicles around host vehicles, is generated. Our method generate surrounding map contains new algorithms. By taking driver's intention into accounts, the threshold parameters of detection algorithms are adapted. Therefore detection tendencies for miss detection and fault detection are changing depend on situations that are considered by driver's criterion.
