Abstract
The concept on city logistics has been attracting research interests in recent years, where the logistics is affected by the conditions of the city, in particular the traffic situation. So, we propose an unified model of distributed urban traffic control and city logistics. We attempt to extend the self-organizing control of signal network proposed by us, such that a specific traffic path for the logistic activity is effective while maintaining total traffic efficiency in the city. Preliminary simulation results shows that the proposed approach is promising.
