Abstract
This paper suggests that pavement irregularity is extracted from the acceleration data by independent component analysis (ICA). ICA is method to divide an original signal from mixed signals. Eight accelerometers are set up, and measured unsprung. The road is a tile road, and the road input is one response. Therefore, as ICA processing result, one waveform by the tile unevenness is divided. Even if the composition of the vehicle is changed, pavement irregularity is extracted. From PSD of wave form extracted by ICA, the peak frequency is different on dry road and wet road.
