Abstract
Recently the technology of active safety that prevents the traffic accidents is developed. In particular, electronic control technologies such as ABS and DYC are developed remarkably. The performance of these control systems are influenced a great deal by friction between tire and road. Therefore grasping the road condition leads to improve the performance of control system and safety technology. There is a road friction coefficient such as parameter that determines road condition. The road friction coefficient is needed to estimate, because it is difficult to measure. In past studies, it was estimated by IMM method and brush model identification method. In this study, it is estimated by Bayesian Network that is stochastic model. Result of simulation and experiment, effectiveness was confirmed.
