Abstract
In recent years, the developments of steering control are proceeding for assisting driver's maneuver. Meanwhile, driver characteristics are important that steering assist system is consist mainly of driver. Thus, the improvement of the performance as man-machine system can be expected by the designing of the closed-loop system including the driver characteristics. We have been discussed optimal steering assist system with assumption of crosswind disturbance in lane following situation in the past. In this study, assist system was examined by using curve task to improve robustness of control system. Here, we aimed for assist system having higher level of maneuverbility performance by tailor the driver characteristics to the individual.
