Recently, many types of driving assistance systems have been developed. To achieve using continuous support for the drivers, haptic feedback has been proposed for more accurate driving, and it has some advantage compared to visual or auditory assists. This paper deals with installment of haptic guidance steering system. Numerical simulation is carried out to examine the feasibility of haptic guidance steering. Driver model is determined with a linear preview model and vehicle dynamics are emulated with two wheel model. As a result, a driving with haptic guidance showed less lateral error from target trajectory. Also, installment of haptic guidance to a motion platform driving simulator is discussed.
