Abstract
From a point of view of handling and stability, it is important to bring automotive tires into contact with the road correctly. But it is difficult to know if tires contact with road correctly or if tires produce the force enough to drive safety while moving. In this research, by measuring the deformation of tires with the strain gauges attached in the inner liner, we figure out how to estimate contact patch's condition or side force of the tire.
