Abstract
This paper proposes a new running mode for personal mobility vehicle (PMV). Generalized running modes in PMV are known as an inversed pendulum vehicle and a bicycle. This proposed mode is to connect between the pendulum mode and the bicycle mode. In case proposed mode has possibility to use in practical, it is able to change between the pendulum mode and the bicycle mode during a running state. In this paper, a test vehicle with asymmetric wheel alignment to examine a running stability in the asymmetric wheels. Moreover, usage of proposed mode is verified by the running experiment.
