Active suspension system are widely installed in high-speed trains for improving passenger comfort. However, there is a problem with existing controllers for conventional lines: the command value of actuators is saturated by the effect of centrifugal force. The objective of this study is to explore the relationship between centrifugal force and command value of the controllers, and to present a new method of switching lateralroll controllers based on rail curvature.
