The feeder is a facility provided to power from the substation via the electric line to the train. if the wire breaks, it takes time to restore, and there is a high possibility that it will be a transport obstacle, so prevention of disconnection is considered a priority from the viewpoint of securing stable transportation. Many of disconnection events that occurred in the past were events in which the contact resistance increased due to corrosion inside the compression pipe used for the connection and the stranded wire near the compression pipe was broken by Joule heat. In this paper, we report the development and verification results of the sensor which detects the temperature rise around the compression pipe before the wire breakage.
