Abstract

This study deals with the possibility for construction of the database of the braking friction coefficient for traffic safety with autonomous vehicles. this paper, we consider the measurement and estimation method for road friction characteristics, and we confirmed the operating status of ABS as a simulation environment construction. In this analysis, can be estimated accurately. Also, from simulation results, it was confirmed that the vehicle condition can be grasped by tire load rate. In the future works, the data base by this method will be used for vehicle motion control.
