When the vertical vibration suppression control system in secondary suspension and the air spring carbody tilting control system are used together, the motions of both may interfere with each other and affect the performance of both and running safety. In this paper, the verification results of carbody tilting motion and running safety on curve using the Shinkansen vehicle model with both systems and track model are reported. As a result, under the conditions in this paper, when both systems are used together, the effect on the performance of both systems and running safety is very small, and it is considered that both systems can be used together.
