A study of the abnormal noise detection of train traveling tone based on neural network

Abstract

When driverless trains are introduced, the ability of abnormal-sound detection which traditionally has been based on crew’s ears will be lost. To catch up on this, this paper proposes an abnormal-noise detection system based on microphones under trains. Through running tests where a test car passes on a stone, the effectivity of proposed method is verified.
