In order to reduce interior noises of railway vehicles, it is necessary to comprehend the contribution ratio of the radiated sound from each part in the interior of the car. The contribution ratio of each interior panel is analyzed by estimating transfer functions between a noise source and evaluation points of noise. In this study, we focus on estimation of the transfer functions and verify the method proposed by conducting experiment using the test car of the high-speed railway. Firstly, we conduct the shaking test to estimate transfer functions. Using the acceleration of shaken points and interior panels and the sound pressure of the evaluation points measured in the tests, transfer functions are estimated. Secondly, we implement the shaking test to simulate the interior noises under the condition of train running. Finally, the interior noises are predicted by multiplying the acceleration obtained on the latter test by the transfer functions. As a result, the interior noises are mostly predicted by the suggested method. However, it is necessary to improve accuracy to use for comprehending the contribution ratio.
