Abstract

When trains run on curves, it is important to ensure running safety. In particular, subways running in urban areas have many sharp curves, and daily monitoring of running safety has been required. Against this background, the PQ monitoring bogie was developed and put into practical use for the first time in 2009 on the Marunouchi Line (02 series vehicles). Since then, it has been introduced to the Tozai Line, Chiyoda Line, Marunouchi Line (2000 series vehicles), Yurakucho-Fukutoshin Line, and Hanzomon Line.Until now, data related to running safety has been observed over the long term using measurement data from the PQ monitoring bogie. In this paper, we will introduce the heatmap methods to evaluate PQ monitoring data.
