The object of this study is improvement of floor heating in the quality of thermal storage and heat release and floor cooling without changing specification. Outdoor facility experiment which consists of 4 kinds of floor structure prototypes (Concrete burial, Panel cell, Charcoal+Insulation and Charcoal) were tested about thermal storage/release performance. Characteristics of heat transfer of Panel cell were also tested in the temperature-controlled room. Moreover, floor cooling using conventional floor heating system is tried in the model house. The results show that the Panel cell is superior to charcoal in performance and floor cooling system can be operated.
