The purpose of this study is to fabricate a grinding wheel by EDM to reuse a worn one. EDM with green compact electrode for metal surface modification has been used only with conductive powders. In this report, a nonconductive powder with high hardness grain is mixed with conductive powders to make a conductive mixture for accretion. As a result, nonconductive powder such as ZrO_2 grain can be used as mixture component in accretion by EDM.
