抄録
This paper describes how we, the Kochi University of Technology, educate 3D-CAD design. In the past, design education using drafters was common. However, 3D-CAD education has become more common due to the recent trend of cheap software and more convenient computer tools. The issues to be considered for the education are selection of a text, study hours including homeworks, and how students can learn by themselves. The text is the one for design of manual winch, hours as actual results were 4 hours including 1.5 hours in class for each lecture, and students needed to learn by themselves following the instruction by teaching assistants.
